As you all know, since getting engaged I've been obsessed with all things weddings. I have a clear picture in my mind how I want everything to look, but narrowing down a dress is near on impossible. I'd always pictured myself in a gorgeous white dress looking elegant and demure. However, recently I've been obsessed with not so 'traditional' dresses so I just had to share some of my favourites from Pickeddresses.com;
My first pick is this scoop neck tulle dress, there is so much to love about this dress; the lace and pearl buttons make it look very much like a classic wedding dress but the pink underlay make it a little more unusual. It's very elegant and perfect for a wedding in a barn or garden, which is very much the direction we're heading in.
My next pick is this gorgeous champagne lace v-neck dress. The lace on this dress is stunning, the way it flows down the dress but doesn't cover it completely makes it look incredibly feminine and modern. What I love most about this dress is that the lace goes over the shoulder and around the neck a little, making it perfect for a church wedding.
My next pick is this stunning champagne crystal detail dress. My favourite thing about this dress has to be the back, it's sheer but the gorgeous crystals come over the shoulders and around the waist which adds a very modern twist whilst still looking very bridal. It has a tulle skirt with sweeping train which would make it look stunning when walking down the aisle. It would be the perfect dress for an outdoor wedding in summer.
My fourth pick is this v-neck lace princess dress, there's something about this dress that screams Disney princess to me - specifically Cinderella. The blush underskirt adds something a little different to a very traditional dress, it just makes it look so feminine. My favourite part of the dress is the lace, it makes it look very delicate without covering the whole dress, the addition of the v-neck and cap sleeves just makes it perfect for a church wedding.
My last pick is quite possibly my favourite, it is this grey backless tulle dress. I completely fell in love from the second I saw this dress, because even though its grey/silver it still looks incredibly bridal. The lace detail through the skirt and bodice is subtle but still looks delicate and feminine, the back is stunning and the train is the perfect length. It the perfect dress for a wedding in a hall, especially one with a winter theme.
What I love most about my picks is that all of them are under £500, so if you're trying to plan you're wedding on a budget then it's definitely worth looking at Pickeddresses.com. Not only does the website offer standard size dresses, but you can also get them made to measure for an extra £10. Pickeddresses.com also has a range of accessories from veils to garters and even shoes...it really is a one stop wedding shop!
